Changing your plan
Upgrade, downgrade or cancel, and what to check first.
Plans change as work changes. Moving between plans does not delete the code you own.
Upgrading
Upgrade from the billing area when you hit a real limit. New allowances are typically available soon after.
Downgrading or cancelling
Before you downgrade or cancel, check that what you rely on is still included in the smaller plan: number of projects, members, custom domains and any customer-facing apps. Current terms are on the Pricing page.
To keep a customer-facing app online, make sure your plan still covers what it needs, or export the code and run it elsewhere. The code is yours either way.
If you are pausing work rather than leaving, check whether a smaller plan covers you instead of cancelling outright.
