Inviting your team
Add colleagues to a workspace and get them building in minutes.
Software is rarely built alone. A workspace holds the people, and members work on the same projects.
Inviting someone
Workspace owners and admins can invite people by email from the workspace's member settings, choosing a role as they do. The invitation brings the person into your workspace.
Deciding the role before you invite
Give each person the least access they need to do their job. Someone who only reviews work does not need to be able to publish, and someone who builds does not need to manage billing. See Roles and permissions.
Working at the same time
Several people can work on the same project. To avoid two half-finished changes colliding, agree who is driving a given area of work.
Beyond your team
Clients and contractors often need a narrower door. Options, from safest to widest:
- Show them the app on a call, or share a published link.
- Give them a limited role in your workspace.
- Create a separate workspace for their work and invite them there.
For client work, use a separate workspace per client. Billing and access stay cleanly separated, and handover at the end is simpler.
Removing someone
When someone leaves, remove them from the workspace. Their access ends, and the work they created stays in the projects.
